Avis de parution de l’ouvrage: Quelles perspectives pour les processus électoraux en République de Guinée ?

Expression démocratique par excellence, l’élection est aussi un moment de grande fébrilité politique. De plus en plus malmené ou contesté, le vote ne semble plus suffire pour garantir la légitimité des autorités alors élues et le temps pour exercer sa citoyenneté devient ainsi un véritable défi pour ceux qui l’organisent. À l’image de nombreux pays sur le continent africain, la République de Guinée n’échappe pas à cette dynamique et aux tensions électorales qu’elle induit.

Saïkou Oumar Baldé et Mathieu Mérino exposent les principales questions inhérentes à l’organisation des prochaines élections de sortie de Transition en Guinée et mettent en perspective différents travaux relatifs aux processus électoraux dans le cadre du projet CERF Guinée et ACET lancé en février 2022.

LES AUTEURS :

Saïkou Oumar Baldé est politologue, docteur en science politique, il est actuellement le directeur du centre de recherche CERF-Guinée et spécialiste des organes de gestion des élections (OGE) en Afrique de l’Ouest.

Mathieu Mérino est politologue, docteur en science politique, il est actuellement chercheur associé à la Fondation pour la recherche stratégique (FRS) à Paris et expert électoral au sein de plusieurs organisations internationales.
